Today there are several possibilities to invest in halal nvestments. Several financial institutions have developed a range of Shariah indices.

In 2007, BNP Paribas Asset Management to launch "the world's first ETF on values according to the laws of Sharia, EasyETF DJ Islamic Market Titans 100 seeks to replicate as closely as possible the performance of the Dow Jones Islamic Market Titans 100 TR, upward or downward, providing access to businesses comply with the rules of Islamic law in the world. This ETF managed so called "perfect", a term recommended investment horizon of five years " .

Others will follow as the general society which will issue a debt instrument in 2008 sold only in the overseas territories.

Portfolio investment type in Islamic finance

By remaining neutral with respect to investment profiles, a portfolio of assets in accordance with the Shariah will therefore include:

  1. Deposits murabaha instead of cash.
  2. Share Sukuk instead of bonds.
  3. Quoted or not, funds or ETFs purified prohibited areas.
  4. Alternative products Shariah.
  5. Shariah property funds.
