The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) is pleased to announce the launch of the National Asset-Liability Management Middle East conference to be held in Bahrain from 10 to 11 November 2010.
This event which is supported by the CBB and organised by the Central Banking Events, brings together an exclusive faculty of international speakers who will address how the outlook of public institutions across the world has changed and share with you the lessons they have learned in the aftermath of the financial crisis.
The first National Asset-Liability Management conference for the Middle East is themed "Effective reserve and liability management in the current environment", and will be inaugurated by Shaikh Salman bin Isa Al Khalifa, Executive Director of Banking Operations Central Bank of Bahrain.
The conference highlights a group of highly esteemed speakers, amongst them are HE Raed H. Charafeddine, First Vice Governor, Bank of Lebanon, Mr. Nasser Saidi, Chief Economist, DIFC, François Hass, Director, Market Operations, Banque de France, Director General, Markets Department, Central Bank of Turkey, George Milling-Stanley, Managing Director, Government Affairs, World Gold Council and many more.
The conference will provide a timely occasion for senior policy and decision-makers from central banks, ministries of finance, government debt officers, national treasuries and sovereign funds to discuss the most pressing issues they face.
